Invitation

Lairunya and Olga and Moss, Cassia and Gideon, Simon and Chad;

After some discussion, Mikhael and I have agreed that this year the midwinter gathering will be held up here in the far north, with Brandon to make all the catering decisions. Remembering what happened the last time he catered anything (my wedding, as I recall), we might want to be on our guard.

It will be good to have a chance to get together again, catch up on what's happened as we do every year. However, I would prefer to limit the guest list this year to ourselves, our spouses, and any children who are interested in attending. This does not include any of our childrens' current romantic partners, though of course spouses and grandchildren are welcome. I will make sure that the guest rooms are in good order. Kindly do not teleport into the house directly; the front garden has not changed much since the last time you were out here and should therefore be a suitable point of entry.
